March 13th Kicks Off 2010 Derby Season!

The Santa Cruz Derby Girls will kick off their 2010 home season on Saturday, March 13th at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium hosting Central Coast Roller Derby of Paso Robles. This bout marks the SCDG Boardwalk Bombshells’ first outing as a WFTDA Apprentice Program team, and we expect the competition to reflect the excitement as well as the increased training the team has been undergoing in the past months.

During the last match-up between these two teams our Boardwalk Bombshells were victorious on the road at the Paso Robles Event Center, winning 107 to 71. We’re looking forward to a great re-match!

Who are you wearing?

The Derby Girls assign a theme to each of the home bouts at the Civic, and we’re kicking off the 2010 season in style. The theme for the March 13th bout will be Red Carpet, and we invite our friends and fans to join in the fun. Dress it up and take it out! Gaga over glamour? Wowed by wackiness? Tailored in a tux? Bring it on
