The Derby Girls are Doing it Again!

On Saturday May 16th the Santa Cruz Derby Girls B team will be welcoming the east bay's league the Brentwood Brawlin' Betties. New name. New team. Same bad ass attitude! The Santa Cruz Derby girls are thrilled to debut to the public their newly formed B team.  The B team will consist of some new faces and some old favorites. SCDG is excited to be able to offer more skaters an opportunity to display their skills on the flat track. Get your tickets early. This one's going to be good!

Don't get up out of those seats at halftime. The Santa Cruz Dance Company will be giving a special performance! The Santa Cruz Dance company's mission is to develop its students to be self expressed individuals in a fun encouraging atmosphere. Among their highest values are a spirit of community, vitality and a healthy fit body. The derby girls can't wait to see this local dance troupe bust a move!

The Santa Cruz Derby girls are honored to have the Vista Center for the Blind as its featured non-profit for the month of May. Vista Center is the only non-profit agency in Santa Cruz County dedicated to serving the special needs of people who are blind and visually impaired, and has been providing a wide variety of critical services for the past 22 years. A portion of the proceeds from this bout will be donated to this wonderful Santa Cruz institution.
