Skating History:
I've been roller skating since I was a kid and had a brief stint of speed (ice) skating as a teen. Derby just came naturally to me. I have been a member of the Santa Cruz league for one year and an honored member of the all-star team since the beginning of the '09 season.
                              
Why derby?
I suffer from a fierce allergy to all things boring, tame, and lady-like. Derby is my antidote.
                                     
Likes: 
Skating fast. Hitting hard. Working as a team.
 
Dislikes:
Elbows to the face. Cocky skaters with bad attitudes. Suicide drills! 
                                      
Fascinating Information:
I stood on the Great Wall of China and took a cruise down the Yangtze river before it was flooded to build the controversial Three Gorges hydro-electric dam.
