Skating History:
Got recruited to roller derby while drinking at the bars downtown in October 2007 and started skating right away. I have been skating the streets of Santa Cruz since then (with temporary breaks via broken leg and road rash every now and then). First season I skated only with the home teams but this season I travel and play a lot more.

Why Derby?
I love extreme sports (going fast and ridin’ dirty) and have been playing on team sports my whole life. Roller derby coalesces these two characteristics of sports. I LOVE IT!

Likes:
Mobbin’ the streets of Santa Cruz in my skates, cucumbers with lime and salt, sunshine, breaking the rules and pets.

Dislikes:
Rain when I feel like skating, hit and run drivers, haters on the rule breakers, cat pee and nightmares.

Fascinating Information:
Did I mention my life is filled with hot dudes? Well anyways I’m from LA, pretty fascinating huh? I was a child mathematical prodigy; I was bussed to the local high school to take all my math classes when I was in grade school. I used to be a model for cat and dog food bags, good times. AND I am starting my 6th year at the University of California, this close from getting my Ecology and Evolutionary Biology degree, what what! Now that’s fascinating…..
