Why Derby?
Derby is a great way to show your strengths, allows you
to find that inner woman of power. It's about the team work, the companionship, and the knowing that you always have a sisterhood wherever you might travel and decide to take out some aggression, or you just need to hang out with some real strong women. This is WHY DERBY!!

Fascinating Information:
While serving 6 years in the Unites States Army, I was only the 4th woman in Army history at that time to be accepted into and serve with distinction in the Caisson Platoon, located at Fort Myer Virginia, the oldest active Infantry duty station established in 1782. If you are old enough to have seen President Kennedy's or Ronald Reagan's funeral procession, those caskets adorned with  the American flag were carried by a six team horse-drawn Caisson to the Capitol, that's what I did. To attain this position I had to fight for my spot amongst 42 other soldiers during an arduous 10 week training and selection process, competing with other men that didn't want me there. While attached to this duty station I performed and conducted over 240 funerals for fallen officers, high dignitaries and WWII vets taking them to their final resting place.

Check out the work I did here.
